Side-by-Side Rental FAQ
Rental rules, age and license requirements, deposits and what to bring. If your question isn't here, call {{PHONE}}.
Age, license and drivers
How old do I have to be to drive?
Drivers must hold a valid driver's license. Ask about age requirements when you book. Bring the physical license to pickup.
Can passengers be younger?
Yes. Passengers must be able to sit properly in a seat with the belt fastened and their feet on the floor. Arizona requires riders under 18 to wear a properly fitted DOT-approved helmet on public and state land.
Can more than one person drive?
Any driver who meets the age and license requirements can be added at pickup. Every driver should be there for the walk-through.
Can I drive after drinking?
No. Never operate a side-by-side after drinking or using drugs. It's dangerous and against the law.
Booking, deposits and payment
How do I book?
Send a booking request through our booking form or call {{PHONE}}. We'll confirm the vehicle, date and price before anything is charged.
Is there a deposit?
Yes. We'll confirm any deposit when you book.
What can come out of the deposit?
Damage beyond normal wear, missing equipment, extra cleaning or late return can be deducted. We'll go over the rental agreement with you before you ride.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are confirmed in your booking. Ask us if your plans might change.
How much does it cost?
Prices depend on the vehicle and rental length. See the RZR, Can-Am Maverick, 4-seat and multi-day pages for details, and call for a current quote.
What's included and what to bring
What comes with the rental?
Ask us what's included when you book. If something isn't included, plan to bring it.
Are helmets included?
Ask us what's included when you book. If helmets aren't included, bring your own. Helmets are required for riders under 18 and strongly recommended for everyone.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes, sunglasses or goggles, a hat for breaks, and clothes you don't mind getting dusty. A light layer helps on cool mornings.
What else should I bring?
Lots of water, sunscreen, snacks, a bandana or buff for dust, a charged phone and a paper map or downloaded GPS route.
Trails, rules and weather
Where can I ride?
Popular options include the Arizona Peace Trail and the rocky route toward Secret Pass. Ride only on roads and trails open to motorized use.
Do I need an OHV decal?
Arizona requires a valid off-highway vehicle decal for vehicles used on public and state trust land. Ask us how this is handled for your rental.
Can I drive the rental on city streets?
Generally no. Off-highway vehicles can only use public roads where they're registered as street legal and local rules allow it. We'll explain what applies to your rental.
What about summer heat?
Summers here are extremely hot. Ride early in the morning, carry plenty of water and be off the trail before the hottest part of the day.
What happens if it rains?
Storms can flood washes quickly. If rain is forecast, call {{PHONE}} and we'll help you decide whether to ride or reschedule.
What if I break down on the trail?
